We Sell Smoke is a new initiative designed by Funky Projects to perform an in depth study of service design, strategic creativity and design thinking in the fields of social and business activity.

During these meetings intangible developments are highlighted and focused projects in the field of innovation are used to demonstrate how a good service design can make a huge difference in impacting the services provided by an entity and what others provide.

Each session of We Sell Smoke covers a specific theme and an expert of recognised international prestige will speak on their experience in the topic as an introduction to the working session with all the attendees. These free thematic workshops have a limited number of attendees who have strong links to the topic covered in each of the sessions, for which an invitation direct from the organisation is needed to attend.

The first edition of We Sell Smoke will take place on 19 January 2010 in Bilbao. For this first event Julia Schaeper will attend as a special guest to cover the topic ‘Service design and health’, with the objective of looking into the innovation possibilities focused on people within the health environment.
